Hi, I am ToniAnn Vassey, the owner of The Twirl Club of Summerville!

I am originally from Long Island, NY, and relocated to South Carolina in 2017 to attend college. My dance journey began at the age of 1 year old, and my technical training continued for 16 years. Twelve years of my dance career were spent competing at the competition level, where I trained in a variety of dance styles. I further expanded my expertise at Ballet Long Island, a professional ballet studio established in 1985. During my time there, I performed in their annual production of The Nutcracker and took on numerous cast roles.

Since then, I have had three beautiful children, taught several dance classes, choreographed cheer competition routines that led to state titles, and earned a degree in teacher education.

It is my passion to instill confidence in young dancers and provide them with the technical skills they need to thrive. I hope to see you in a class soon!
